Default Converting MySQL database to UTF8

One of our customers wishes to upgrade an installation of Moodle on their website. In order for the upgrade to take place, the MySQL database must first be converted from the latin1 charset to UTF8. Moodle requires that the database character set UTF8 and will not upgrade if it is not.

Can someone tell me how to change the database character set to UTF8 through cPanel/WHM control panel?

You can do it from cPanel/WHM >> phpmyadmin >> select the database >> operations >> Collation [Select your Collation] from the drop down list.
