It allows you to manage , modify the contents on the website. This includes uploading / editing / Copying / Deleting etc. There are many modification options, however this is known to be the most favourable due to its easy interface.

The files of the websites are generally placed in public_html folder. Images can also be placed in this folder. However, coding is required for the same. Frontpage (http://www.bodhost.com/frontpage_tutorial.shtml) and Dreamveawer (http://www.bodhost.com/dreamweaver_tutorial.shtml) are the most suitable to make the desired changes.

You can use " html editor " instead of Frontpage and Dreamveawer from cPanel >> File Manager to make changes in your web pages it provides Design, Html Code and preview options. One more useful features File Manager provide is "Upload Files" for uploading files. :)
